New York Primary is Tomorrow/Vote, Vote, Vote/Campaign All the Way to the End

Our campaign just received phenomenal press coverage in Denmark. Can you believe that? The whole world is watching our highly organized efforts to keep New York 100% free of shale fracking. Check it out.

Tomorrow is New York's potentially historic presidential primary election. If you are registered, please be sure to vote for the candidate of your choice. In the months to come, this election will have huge implications for our efforts to keep New York 100% free of shale fracking and fossil fuel infrastructure hazards.

POLLS OPEN at 6 AM and CLOSE at 9 PM in New York City and the counties of Erie, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Orange, Rockland and Putnam.

POLLS OPEN at 12 NOON and CLOSE at 9 PM in all other counties of the state.

Our Pledge Drive

Despite more than 700 signatories, including some serious heavy hitters, and massive press coverage, we have no signatories to our New York Presidential Primary Candidate Pledge to Oppose the Constitution Pipeline and Support Five Innovative Energy Policies.

That tells you exactly where the candidates are at.

Nevertheless, our campaign successfully focused the attention of all the presidential candidates on shale fracking, pipelines and unrelenting consumption of fossil fuels. Those issues will reverberate in the Pennsylvania Primary on 4/26/16 and all the way to the nation-wide general election on 11/8/16.

Please note that the Sanders Campaign put out a issue statement opposing the Constitution Pipeline. As I earlier predicted, campaign action is often taken with very little time left in a contest. Voters can decide for themselves what they think.

Ithaca Bird-Dogging

Thanks so much to everyone who showed up bright and early in Ithaca to bird-dog Chelsea Clinton at a campaign event. Fractivists handed out requests for Hillary to sign our pledge as the party faithful headed into the venue, talked to local bigwigs, got cars honking in support of killing pipelines and generated press.

Incredible Coverage In Denmark For Our Grassroots Campaign

I am thrilled to report that our campaign just received extensive coverage in one of Denmark's leading newspapers. Thanks to Martin Burcharth of Denmark daily Information for covering shale fracking in New York.

Appreciation also to Professor Dexter Kozen of the Cornell Computing and Information Science Department for his able translation assistance.

One More Day of Pushing the New York Primary Candidates to Sign our Pledge

We are getting down to the wire. Bird-dog all the candidates and campaign surrogates you can find tomorrow. Crank up the heat to require them to earn our well-informed Fractivist votes in the New York presidential primary and on 11/8/16.

Go to local campaign events. Make your respectful voices ring loud and clear. Do not accept platitudes. Require all the candidates spell out exactly what they want to do regarding statewide and national energy policies.

Get press coverage by speaking to reporters.

Check out a truncated video of Julie M's tremendously effective news interview that includes our "ask:" If she can do it, you can, too. Stay on-message. Make the "ask."

After tomorrow, we will have perhaps less than nine days to require Governor Cuomo to DENY the Section 401 Water Quality Certification required for the Constitution Pipeline to be built. Prepare to sprint to the finish.

Onward and upward. Thanks so much.
