Governor Hochul's Failure to Halt HABs All Over New York State is Irresponsible and Unacceptable

Governor Hochul's long-standing failure to halt massive HABs and other water quality impairments all over New York is irresponsible, unacceptable and entirely what we have come to expect year after year.

Cayuga Lake remains New York's Number One priority for adoption of a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) comprehensive watershed regulatory cleanup plan. No TMDL has been adopted for 22 years and counting. HABs in Cayuga Lake threaten the drinking water provided to more than 30,000 local residents and impact the economy.

Can you believe the Governor's shocking lack of regulatory enforcement? New Yorkers must not tolerate this outrageous failure of environmental and public health protection.
