permanently block the bizarre technology known as hydraulic fracturing

As an emeritus member of the American Institute of Biological Sciences
(AIBS), I ask you to permanently block the bizarre technology known as
hydraulic fracturing ("hydrofracking"). Somehow it has been approved &
used in some other states, with bitter results. Sociopathic profiteers
use the sanitizing words "economic development" the way the armed forces
use "soft ordnance" to indicate corpses of young Americans in body bags.
