WOW! I read the incredible article in the NY Times

Dear Walter,

WOW! I read the incredible article in the NY Times last night and
jumped for joy... bittersweetly. The exposure and the 'no holding
back' as it was written, couldn't be better. I pray that this article
gets the message out to more and more people and we can get our
government to hear us and stop worshiping gas instead of water! Thank
you, thank you, thank you !! for all that you have done and all that
you continue to do to help all of us fight this nightmare of assault.

I read and read about so many corrupt and disrespectful acts within
the gas extraction process and find myself limp with fear and anxious
with anger. I feel 'lucky' so far, however, to live in NYS and be a
part of this rebellion against the gas drilling massacre. I weep for
those in PA and other states that aren't so lucky.

I am preparing a letter to send to our local paper here in Binghamton,
but I have to leave my computer, time and time again, to breathe and
shake out the mish-mosh of emotions that overwhelm me. Also, I find
it so difficult to find a single topic to concentrate on amidst all of
the complicated and evil facets out there to voice about.
ARGGGGGHHH!!!!

I admire you so much for your articulation in speaking and writing and
your ability to stay focused and composed when being interviewed and
video taped. Do you ever just want to scream!!!???

Elaine Perkus mentioned that the NY Times is going to do several
articles about the gas extraction process... is that right? If so,
that is awesome. I wondered if the Times released this poignant and
fierce article today so that the gas industry would take some of the
negative 'heat' off of Josh Fox and his nomination for an Oscar
(airing tonight). I would like to think that they did ... since they
are a much bigger force for the industry to fight than picking on Josh
as an individual. In any case... I am so glad it came out when it did
so Josh can say... "see, my documentary isn't fictional hype against
the gas industry"!!!

When I complete my letter to the Binghamton Press (which may be
several days), could I forward you a copy to see what you think before
I send it? I respect your intelligent perspective, thus your skills
to critique.

With the utmost respect and admiration,
Sharon M
