I very much appreciate all of the kind notes from Fractivists who worked so long and hard to safeguard 100% of New York from shale fracking. It is wonderful to hear from each and every one of you. Your generous thoughts mean more to me than you will ever know. Thank you.

Congratulations on winning the biggest environmental victory in a generation

Greetings,

The truth is that I feared this momentous day might never come, but at long last it finally arrived.

After nearly seven years of grueling, seemingly endless hard work, I am thrilled to report that the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation finally issued its long-awaited Findings Statement to conclude the Supplemental Generic Environmental Impact Statement (SGEIS) proceeding.

Pursuant to our respectful and well documented requests, the No-Action alternative was adopted which prohibits shale fracking everywhere in New York.

Still No Shale Fracking Prohibition in New York State SIX MONTHS after Cuomo Administration Promise

Greetings,

MORE THAN SIX MONTHS have now passed since the Cuomo administration promised to prohibit shale fracking in New York State. To this day, that pledge has yet to be fulfilled.

No Findings Statement has been issued to conclude the SGEIS proceeding. No final decision has been made to resolve this matter once and for all. It is simply not clear where things stand.

No Final SGEIS Findings Statement Issued Yet/Ten Days and Counting

Please Sign our Final SGEIS Findings Statement Coalition Letter: http://www.toxicstargeting.com/MarcellusShale/letters/2015/5/15/coalition-letter-cuomo-final-sgeis-findings-statement-requests
